Kwak Tube Issue Official Apologies over The Ongoing Lee Na-eun Controversy

Kwak Tube, a travel YouTuber who had been a victim of school violence during his student days, faced backlash after defending Lee Na-eun, a former APRIL member involved in controversies over bullying and being accused of school violence. This followed a similar incident where Dex had posted a picture of himself with Lee Na-eun, which also sparked controversy.








Lee Na-eun’s career halted in 2021 after ex-member Lee Hyun-joo accused her of bullying, followed by further allegations of school violence. Though the claims were later retracted, the damage led to APRIL’s disbandment in early 2022. 















In a recent video, Kwak Tube featured Lee Na-eun as a guest during his trip to Italy. In the video, he admitted to blocking her due to the bullying rumors but expressed regret, while Lee Na-eun shared her sadness over being misunderstood. Once the video showing Kwak Tube defending Lee Na-eun, who had been reflecting after the controversy, was released, subscribers reacted strongly and criticized Kwak Tube. 








Following the backlash, Kwak Tube deleted the video and issued an apology, acknowledging his lack of consideration and promising to be more mindful in future content creation.
