Lee Jin-wook & Shin Hye-sun Disclose Thoughts on Love, 1st Couple Pictorial for “Dear Hyeri”

The stars of the heartwarming romance drama "Dear Hyeri," Shin Hye-sun and Lee Jin-wook, recently posed for a captivating photo shoot with Elle magazine. Mirroring the drama's exploration of an unusual yet beautiful love story with its delicate emotional nuances, the photo shoot beautifully captured the deep and profound connection between the two actors.








Following the shoot, the duo sat down for an interview. When asked about their on-set chemistry, Shin Hye-sun revealed, "This was my first couple photo shoot, and I felt at ease because of Jin-wook. When we were filming a flashback scene for 'Dear Hyeri,' he reassured me by saying, 'Trust me.' So I decided to put my faith in him and give it my all!" 















Lee Jin-wook, in turn, praised their romantic scenes, saying, "Our chemistry was natural and effortless."








Discussing her challenging role as a character with two distinct personalities, Shin Hye-sun explained, "I wanted both Joo Eun-ho and Joo Hye-ri to leave a lasting impression on the audience. I approached each character with the hope that they would fall in love with both." 








Meanwhile, when asked about portraying a rekindled romance with an ex-girlfriend in "Dear Hyeri," Lee Jin-wook shared, "It was a unique experience. Despite their mutual feelings, they separated due to emotional immaturity in their youth. The story beautifully captures their journey of healing and growth."








In "Dear Hyeri," Shin Hye-sun's character, with her dual personalities, experiences both an "8-year long-term romance" and a "first love romance" with two different men. 















Reflecting on the challenges of portraying these contrasting love stories, the actress shared, "While the script provides emotional guidelines, much of it is enhanced through our on-set interactions. As we discussed various interpretations, I often found myself thinking, 'Wow, love is so complex!'" 








Later, when asked to define love, she said, "Love has the power to transform people more than anything else in the world. And it's not just romantic love, but love in all its forms. I believe that's what gives meaning to our lives."








Meanwhile, Lee Jin-wook offered his own perspective on love, stating, "Love is, in essence, everything. If you look closely, you'll find that many things in this world stem from love."








"Dear Hyeri," an original Genie TV production, is set to premiere on Genie TV, Genie TV Mobile, and ENA at 10 p.m. on the 23rd.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​
