BLACKPINK Rosé and other members joined James Corden on a “Carpool Karaoke” segment. BLACKPINK Rosé recently appeared in the “Carpool Karaoke” segment of “The Late Late Show with James Corden” with other members of the group and revealed her pre-debut stories. Rosé was born in New Zealand in 1997 and emigrated to Melbourne, Australia when she was seven. She dreamed of becoming a singer. When there was a global audition from YG, Rosé’s father booked tickets for her to Sydney so that she could have a go at being a trainee. Rosé won a ticket to be a trainee after overcoming an estimate of 700 people. She decided to drop out of high school to pursue her dream of becoming an idol. Rosé was 16 years old, and, when a friend asked her where she was going, Rosé had to reply, “I have no idea how I'm gonna explain it but it's just like acting school kind of thing but it's all about music.” Rosé was a trainee...
